AD-eTour: The citty in your hands

ADmore s.r.l. is working on a tour guide system for smartphones. This system - AD-eTour - is a multimedia tour guide with which is possible to create a network of guided itineraries following the historical center, structures that have architectural/archaeological heritage value and other kinds of touristic and/or cultural attractions.

The idea is to develop all kinds of information and media in order to promote the territory in an efficient way.

The system is also supposed to evolve towards a cooperative, complex and geografically spread structure that stimulates the collaboration of all of the envolved identities - hotel managers, restaurante managers and tourism agencies.

AD-eTour consists of several interactive components structured in as it follows:

- smartphone for guided tours;
- info-point: information points distributed around receptive field structures;
- a website to advertise the offered services and allow virtual tours;

Soon there will be a demo available, so you can evaluate the system itself.
